If you are a parent or appointed guardian, you are automatically a member of Wagner’s PA! You are welcome and encouraged to participate in our monthly meetings to discuss issues relevant to Wagner families, as we strive to serve as strong advocates for all students.

The Wagner PA Executive Board consists of elected officers, committee chairs and school representatives. It meets once per month to conduct PA business. The primary focus of the Executive Board is to foster unity within the parent body while working to achieve community engagement, service and fundraising goals. All officers are elected in the spring to serve one-year terms. 

The Wagner PA works hard to

• advocate for students and families
• update parents and families about the school
• plan and run activities for parents and families

To achieve our goals, the PA focuses on contributing to a positive school environment. We do this by organizing academic and social activities for families, raising funds, collaborating with the Wagner staff to assist with school-sponsored events, and running volunteer events throughout the school year. Your involvement supports the school in many ways, but none as important as contributing to your child's success. 

How You can Get Involved:

We need your help to make Wagner the best school possible!

1. Contact the Wagner Parent Association at D24Q560PA@schools.nyc.gov  to let us know that you want to get involved.
2. Support any fundraisers we host throughout the year.
3. Donate directly to the Wagner Parent Association. Every donation makes a difference! All collected funds go directly to benefit the students, through social and cultural events, workshops, outreach programs and more. Your support ensures that the PA can continue to fund valuable programs. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all gifts are tax deductible.

Checks or money orders should be made payable to “RF Wagner Jr. PA”. You can also drop off checks at the school with our Parent Coordinator, Emilia Cano.

THE WAGNER SCHOOL LEADERSHIP TEAM (SLT) MEETS MONTHLY TO ENGAGE IN DISCUSSION SURROUNDING IMPORTANT ISSUES REGARDING DECISIONS WE MAKE THAT IMPACT THE DAILY LIVES OF OUR STUDENTS. THIS IMPORTANT GROUP'S MEMBERSHIP IS A MIXTURE OF PARENTS, STUDENTS, TEACHERS, SCHOOL LEADERS, & STAFF MEMBERS WHO DEDICATE TIME EACH MONTH TO THIS ESSENTIAL ENDEAVOR. WHILE THE SLT MEETS WITH SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES IN MIND, THESE MEETINGS ARE CERTAINLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC-AT-LARGE. EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE WAGNER COMMUNITY IS ENCOURAGED TO BOTH CONTRIBUTE TO THE MONTHLY AGENDA & ATTEND OUR MEETINGS AS GUESTS!
