ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Secondary School for Arts & Technology is a small school in Long Island City, NY based upon the belief that all students can learn at high levels. We foster the development of natural curiosity towards creative expression, creative learning and creative service. Our academic program is student-centered, rigorous, and prepares all learners for college and career-readiness.

We pride ourselves on our unique, family-like atmosphere:

...a small school, with only 600 students

...everyone goes by first names—even the teachers and the principal!

...all 9th graders get a full year of Arts & Technology coursework

...two state-of-the-art computer labs for student use

...SmartBoards in every academic classroom

...teachers who really know you and care about your success

...monthly "town meetings" for our scholars to showcase their talents

Don't believe us? Stop by for a visit.  We'll show you that Wagner is different than the rest
OUR PARTNERS & PROGRAMS

We are honored to work with a variety of diverse and passionate partner organizations and institutions, who help us to develop robust programming at Wagner, and enrich out student's learning experiences, both in and out of the classroom.
